from World Solidarity Voluntary Organization in
Ghana, the organization that brings together
volunteers world-wide.
Wosovo is a registered non-profit making,
non-governmental organization (NGO) that
promotes peace and international
understanding by involving both Ghanaians and
foreigners in developmental projects and
inter-cultural exchange programs.
Since its creation few years ago, Wosovo
promotes international understanding and
solidarity, sustainable development and respect
for the environment.
Furthermore, we believe that all people are
capable of living together with mutual respect,
assistance to the needy and without recourse to
any form of violence to solve existing
conflicts.
Wosovo uses international cultural
exchange programs as a fundamental instrument to
achieve its objectives because it considers that
by living together with other cultures and
communities, people can become aware of
conditions and realities existing in the world
of today.
However, we are looking for new opportunities
for volunteers, organizations that share similar
aims/ideas like ours. We are trying to expand
our network of partners around the world in an
effort to make volunteering flexible and easy to
increase the availability of volunteer
opportunities .
